I want to purchase a fast pontoon boat. Should I buy a pontoon or a tritoon? Please tell me why either one is preferred.

Definitely a tritoon! The 3rd tube adds more buoyancy and reduces drag to help keep the boat on plane. Which means more speed! Go one step further and add lifting strakes on the tubes to further reduce drag. Check out our articles below for more information on fast pontoons and tritoons.
