Answers to Questions About Fisher Boats Manufacturer
Here are answers to some of the most frequently asked questions about Fisher Boats. Just as a disclaimer I have no affiliation with Fisher Boats, but the brand who bought Fisher boats a while back (Tracker Marine Group) was very helpful in providing information regarding the Fisher Boats Brand when I reached out to them a few years ago.
Who Makes Fisher Boats?
Nobody currently makes Fisher Boats. Tracker Marine Group was the last brand to produce Fisher Boats but they discontinued production in 2009.
Who Makes Fisher Pontoon Boats?
The Fisher Liberty Boat (Fisher Boats’ pontoon model) ceased production under the ownerhip of Tracker Marine Group in 2009. Although they are not the same model, it appears that the Sun Tracker pontoon boats resemble the Fisher Liberty Pontoon Boat now if you wanted to buy a new similar pontoon boat.
Who Made Fisher Boats?
Fisher Boats were originally made by the “Fisher Boats” brand (founded by Clifton Miller) starting in 1967. The original brand was purchased by Brunswick Fishing in 1990, and then Fisher Marine was purchased by Tracker Marine Group until the brand ceased production in 2009.
What Happened to Fisher Boats?
Fisher Boats was bought out by Brunswick Fishing in 1990. The (then) Fisher Marine brand was bought again by Tracker Marine Group, and stopping producing boats by 2009. Tracker Boats most resemble what used to be Fisher Marine boats currently.
