I am considering purchasing a pontoon boat. What are the cons of pontoon boats?

Below are some of my thoughts. Hope this helps.
speed - these boats aren't built for speed (25-35 mph) - if you are looking for speed check out a tritoon with powerful outboards
rough water - these boats do not handle rough waters as well as v-shaped hulls
handling - very large turn radius - not ideal for tight channels and hairpin turns
