We are so happy because we purchased our first pontoon boat, and we are so excited for the 2025 boating season. We bought a suntracker party barge 22!
With this being our first pontoon boat, we have no idea what necessary items need to be kept on-board. We will focus on fun accessories later, but for now we are focused on the necessities. Please provide your list of items! We are thinking about safety, maintenance, spares, emergencies, etc.
Fenders. Dock lines. Fire extinguisher - you need the ability to put out any fire type from electrical to wood and gasoline. First aid kit. Some sort of back-up communication (your cell phone may not always work). Navigation (depends heavily on the size body of water). We like dry bags too for storing important items while underway.
