Hi everybody! Can't wait to share my pontoon boat experience. We have a 22' Suntracker Party Barge that we use to cruise around, fish, and tow kids on the tube.

Necessary Items On-Board

We are so happy because we purchased our first pontoon boat, and we are so excited for the 2025 boating season. We bought a suntracker party barge 22!

With this being our first pontoon boat, we have no idea what necessary items need to be kept on-board. We will focus on fun accessories later, but for now we are focused on the necessities. Please provide your list of items! We are thinking about safety, maintenance, spares, emergencies, etc.

Does anybody own foam filled pontoons? Are these better than the traditional air filled pontoons? Why are they filled with foam and was is the benefit?

3 or 4 Blade Propeller

I am looking to replace the propeller on the outboard for my pontoon boat. I mostly use the pontoon boat for fishing and light cruising. I saw 3 blade and 4 blade propellers online. Which one of these should I buy? Does it matter?

Tie Pontoon Boat Together

Me and a bunch of friends are new to boating and this year we are all purchasing used pontoon boats. Our plan is to "tie-up" (just like Zac Brown) our pontoon boats on our nearby lake and make a cool party scene. What is the best, easy, and safe way to tie these pontoon boats together?

I am very new to boating so please forgive me. What the type of boat called that has 3 "tubes" under its deck? What about a boat with 2 "tubes"? What's the purpose of the extra tube?
